Sustainability
Long-term thinking, applied honestly. We do not claim programmes we do not have.
Built for thirty years, not a funding cycle.
Sustainability means building an organisation that will still be producing trustworthy, independent science in thirty years — financially, scientifically, and environmentally.
Scientific sustainability
Reproducibility reduces waste. Standardised protocols prevent failed experiments and create reusable knowledge. Open licensing keeps that knowledge accessible across labs, institutions, and time.
Organisational sustainability
Financial independence protects scientific independence. We prioritise research councils, charitable foundations, and philanthropic funders. All funding sources are disclosed publicly.
Environmental sustainability
We are pre-incorporation with no laboratory operations. When laboratory operations begin, our footprint will be documented and reported. We set targets only when we can measure honestly.
