Careers
No open roles right now. If what we are building matters to you, we want to hear from you anyway.
Cellindex is building the informatics infrastructure for reproducible cell culture. That is the whole brief. We are not a startup in the usual sense — we are not chasing growth metrics, and there is no product roadmap dictated by investors.
We are small and we intend to stay small until the work demands otherwise. Every hire changes the organisation significantly, so we are deliberate about it.
All roles are fully remote and UK-based.
Send an expression of interestWhat matters to us
We are building tools for cell culture researchers. If you have spent time at a biosafety cabinet and know exactly why "70% confluence" means something different in every lab, that matters.
Incorrect seeding densities and inconsistent passage numbers compound over time into results nobody can interpret. The work we are doing only makes sense if the details are taken seriously throughout.
The ELN is in development. Protocols are being drafted. Things are not finished, and some things are not yet decided. People who find that frustrating will be frustrated.
The goal is independent research infrastructure that outlasts its founders. That takes time and requires a particular kind of patience.
Who tends to fit.
Cell biology
Researchers with hands-on cell culture experience — particularly anyone who has spent time thinking about why the same protocol gives different results in different labs.
Research software
Developers who have worked in research environments and understand the gap between how scientists actually work and how software assumes they work.
Research governance
People with experience in GLP, ISO 17025, or academic quality management. We will need this expertise as the platform matures.
