1. Who we are
Cellindex Group t/a Cellindex (incorporation in progress, England and Wales) is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website (cellindex.org). Contact: hello@cellindexgroup.org.
This policy covers cellindex.org only. The Cellindex ELN at cellindex.app is a separate product with its own privacy documentation.
2. What personal data we collect and why
Contact and enquiry data. When you email us, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Functional cookie. We set one cookie (ci_func) which records that you have acknowledged the cookie notice on this site. It contains no personal data, expires after 365 days, and is not shared with any third party. See our cookie policy for full details.
No analytics or tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or any session-recording tools on this website.
3. Lawful basis (UK GDPR Article 6)
We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for processing contact enquiries. The functional cookie is strictly necessary to operate the cookie notice and falls within the exemption under PECR Regulation 6(4).
4. Data storage
Contact data is stored using third-party email infrastructure operating within the UK and EEA. As a UK-based company, we are subject to UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
5. Data retention
Contact correspondence is retained for up to three years from the date of last contact.
6. Third-party sharing
We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to third parties for their own purposes. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (email, hosting) acting as data processors under appropriate agreements.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to: access your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@cellindexgroup.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We may update this policy. The current version is always published at this URL with the date of last update shown above.
